What can I do?

 

I’ve been feeling powerless  and extremely sad while viewing images of dead Palestinian children and adults massacred by the Israeli army and supported by the US. 

What can I do sat here in Singapore?

My Palestinian friend says that we have to recognise what we cannot do and what we can. And to act on the latter. 

So, I have written 3 letters to my MP, participated in a walk to send letters to the PM, boycotted companies that support Israel, am divesting from investments that fund the 6 main companies providing weapons to Israel, signed petitions and donated to Palestine solidarity organisations, direct action organisations, individuals in Gaza and non-profit organisations providing aid in Gaza. 

Every little drop of water a mighty ocean makes, and that ocean is creating waves.
