Postcard Prowl is back!
Postcard Prowl numero 2
How time has flown! It's been six months since the inaugural Postcard Prowl - six months in which I was busy working on Postcards from Chip Bee, enjoying the Christmas break and getting back into the swing of things. And a quarter of 2019 is almost gone!
So, now that we've settled into the new year, I think it's time for another fun romp around the neighbourhood.
Wait, what's this Postcard Prowl thing?
If you don't know what Postcard Prowl is, it's my version of a treasure hunt where the prize is an original Postcard, or in this case Painting, made by me.
I shall plant the painting (in the picture above) somewhere in Chip Bee and will leave clues for Prowlers on the Chip Bee Gardens Facebook Group and on my own Facebook Artist page. The first person to find it gets to keep it as the prize.
In the first Postcard Prowl, one of the Chip Bee neighbours found the postcard and put it back so that someone else could find it and take it home. That was very sweet and generous and it reminded me of why I love living in this neighbourhood.
When is this happening?
If you want advance notice and specifics about the date and time of the Prowl, sign up to my newsletter.
Why am I organising this?
I believe that art is a shared experience, so what better way to enjoy it than with the people who live in my neighbourhood? I hope that Postcard Prowl will add to the fun of living in our neighbourhood.
